Job Description:

• Good background and skills to design and develop attractive and engaging data visualization and end user reports and perform data analysis using Tableau
• Demonstration of Tableau skills and knowledge will be required, in both the Desktop and Cloud solutions Tableau Certification highly desired
• 3 years of experience reading, writing, defining, executing, and interpreting complex/nested SQL queries
• Solid understanding of design strategies around information display
• Good interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, and able to self-prioritize work. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Ability to deliver quality work within strict deadlines while managing multiple priorities and acting with a sense of urgency; able to work well with complexity and ambiguity
• Expert level technical, financial modeling, and reporting skills; deep experience demonstrating a variety of analytical techniques for solving problems and drawing conclusions
• Ability to define a vision and influence the strategic direction of how data will be organized, assembled, and managed for advanced analytics, business intelligence, and operational reporting
• Superb communication skills and ability to explain complex results to a non-technical team audience
• Applied experience solving real world customer scenarios helping customers think through technical solutions to business challenges
• Proven track-record of framing analytical problems, driving insights, and influencing decisions across a diverse set of customers
• Experience with corporate data solutions in gathering datasets from multiple data sources into a central repository

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate insights through design, development, deployment and support of sustainable, scalable Tableau dashboards and other BI solutions
• Perform and document data analysis, data validation, and data mapping design
• Deliver medium to high complexity dashboards, while using simple methods and principles
• Drive intuitive and logical User experience flow allowing the reader to intuitively navigate and understand the information being presented; ensure clarity throughout the experience
• Provide ad hoc data support for critical reporting needs
• Perform detailed data analysis through discovery, determining structure, content, and quality of data through examining source systems, data samples, and dictionaries
• Perform data manipulation tasks using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) to synthesize data into analytical datasets; define, complete, and interpret complex/nested SQL queries
• Become a domain expert of Tableau, our existing datasets and data infrastructure
• Be willing and able to drive dashboard demos and deliver basic training to new Tableau users
