In the latest employment notification, the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission announces job vacancies for Librarian & Information Assistant posts to fill 11 positions on direct basis, in reference to Notification No. 33/ 2018.

Under TNPSC Librarian & Information Assistant Recruitment 2018, candidates completed a Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree in relevant subjects can apply, and should Tamil knowledge.

On basis of Examination & Oral Test, the applicant will be finalized on merit.

The selected candidate will be recruited with salary pay of Rs 19,500 to Rs 1,80,500 per month.

Librarian in Agriculture Department (2014-2016): 02

Film Librarian in Agriculture Department (2015-2016): 01

Librarian and Information Assistant Grade-I for Anna Centenary Library in Public Libraries Department (2016-2017): 05

Librarian and Information Assistant Grade-II for Anna Centenary Library in Public Libraries Department (2016-2017): 19

Librarian in Legislative Assembly Secretariat (2014-2015): 01

Age Limit:

As on 01.07.2018, Candidate age limit should be 18 to 35 years.

An applicant from reserved and special categories, the upper age limit is relaxed as per Govt. guidelines.

Education Qualification:

Should complete Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree in relevant subjects from recognized university/institute.

Selection Process:

On basis of Examination, Oral Test.
