Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Notification 2025: Admission to Class VIII at Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) announces the admission process for boys and girls to Class VIII at Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun, for the January 2026 term, as per Notification No. 01/2025.

Eligibility Criteria

In accordance with the TNPSC RIMC Admission 2025 Notification, candidates studying or having passed Class VII from a recognized school are eligible to apply. The age criteria are as follows:

• Minimum Age: 11½ years
• Maximum Age: 13 years

Candidates must be born between 02-01-2013 and 01-07-2014.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a written examination and viva-voce test. The written exam will cover:

1. English
2. Mathematics
3. General Knowledge

The minimum pass mark for each paper, including the interview, is 50%.

Application Fee

The cost of the prospectus-cum-application form and booklet of old question papers is:

• General Candidates: ₹600
• SC/ST Candidates: ₹555 (Community Certificate required)
