In a latest job notification, Andhra Pradesh PSC announces job vacancies for Sericulture Officer post in A.P Sericulture Service, in reference to NOTIFICATION NO.11/2019.

Under APPSC Sericulture Officer Recruitment 2019, candidates completed Degree/Master Degree in relevant subjects are required to apply.

On basis of computer-based examination followed by Interview / oral test, an applicant for the desired post will be finalized on merit.

The selected candidate will be recruited, with salary pay of Rs 35,120 - 87,130 per month.

Age Limit:

As on 01/07/2019, Candidate age limit should be 18 to 42 years (Candidates should not be born earlier than 2nd July 1977 and not later than 1st July 2001).

An applicant from reserved and special categories, the upper age limit is relaxed as per Govt. guidelines.

Education Qualification:

Must possess Second Class Masters Degree in Science with sericulture or Botany or Zoology as subjects of study or a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture from any university established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or Provincial Act or a State Act or an Institution registered by University Grants Commission.

Preference shall however be given to candidates possessing Masters Degree in Sericulture or holding post graduate diploma in Sericulture from any recognised University or Institution as an additional qualification.

Selection Process:

On basis of computer-based examination followed by Interview / oral test.

Application Fee:

Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 370 through online mode.

SC, ST, BC, & Ex-Service Men are exempted from payment of examination fee Rs.120/-.
