Assam Public Service Commission released a job notification to fill various Lecturer post vacancies in District Institutes of Education and Training (D.I.E.T) under Elementary Education Deptt. Government of Assam.

The 149 Lecturer posts were divided into various job categories, each requiring different eligibility criteria and educational qualification.

Eligible candidates with desired educational and post-work qualification mentioned in the APSC notification can apply for the vacancies.

Under APSC 2017 Recruitment Lecturer Job Announcement, interested candidates applied for the desired post need to undertake Written Test and Interview and final candidates for the post will be selected based on his/her merit.

The lecturer posts were divided into Pre-Service Teacher Education (PSTE), Language Posts, Subject-Wise posts and among others.

Age Limit: As on as on 1st January, 2017, candidate with upper age limit of 38 years eligible for the vacancies. And also age relaxation for reserved and other categories is applicable for different posts.

Selection Process: Final candidates for Lecturer posts will be selected followed by two phases of exam – 1) Written Test & 2) Voice Interview. Candidate who receives merit score in the exams and provided commission satisfied with appointment of candidate for the post, applicant will be finalized for his/her desire vacancy.
