Short Description:

Key Skills for the qualified candidates will have:

1. Advanced python programming skills and knowledge (OOP is must)

2. Familiarity with any big data tools like spark, Hadoop, Kafka, ray

3. Scripting knowledge in python to interact with the databases and basic understanding of data-

analysis and image processing

4. Knowledge and Hands on experience with any relational SQL DB

5. Python frameworks/packages: Pandas, NumPy, Open-CV, Py Spark, SQL Alchemy, SK-Learn

6. Solid foundation in data structures and algorithms

7. A methodical approach to tasks with extreme attention to detail and with proper Design

8. Problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside of the box without having assumptions

9. Effective communication skills (to work with cross functional teams)

10. Focus on innovation, data orientation, being results driven, taking on big goals and adapting fast

Job Responsibilities:

1. Constantly evaluate if there is a need to Redesign or Refactor code to cater to the growing needs of the end users

2. Investigate data to identify potential issues within ETL pipelines, notify end-users and propose adequate solutions

3. Prepare documentation for ETL pipeline issues for further reference

4. Prepare and maintain troubleshooting document for on-calls

5. Maintain and improve already existing ETL processes with clean coding practices (accurate data is gold for us)

6. Support in ETL testing to validate the data models and data quality of newly developed features

7. Clear all the ETL issues with minimal guidance from ETL developers

8. Develop/Manage/Test REST APIs for integration with workflow systems

9. Create reports using SQL queries & Excel to highlight pipeline issues

10. Automate reporting & clean-up activities with python / SQL scripting
