Key Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for Software features designing and implementation for embedded Linux software of next generation medical device.
• Define Product, System, Components objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
• Participate in a design of features and be responsible to execute the flow from requirements to SW implementation along with hands-on coding. In addition, be responsible for defining test cases and writing automated tests to verify SW implementation with quality in mind.
• Participate effectively in estimation, planning, cost-of-quality, and quality risk analysis.
• Ensuring full compliance with relevant work practices, as required by authorities for medical device product development
• Ensuring full compliance with Radiometers quality system.
• Demonstrate Danaher values and adopt DBS tools across team.

Proficiencies / Skills / Experience:

• Four-year-degree (BE/BTech) in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of software development experience in medical or regulated environment using agile SW development methodologies.
• Hands on Experience in Application development using Qt/QML, Multithreading, Modern C++ (standard 11 & later), Basic Python scripting and Good Knowledge on CMake, Makefiles is must.
• Experience and domain knowledge within the medical devices development industry would be an advantage.
• Ability to act as a technical driver for the rest of the team. Possess strong analytical skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in writing unit tests using Google Test framework.

Desirable Skills – Language and Tools: 

• Exposure to DBS Tools (for Internal Candidates only)
• Fluent in English is a Must – written and spoken (business level)
• Good understanding of software development processes, preferably for a regulated medical devices environment (Design controls) HealthCare domain
• Azure DevOps, Git version control exposures is preferable
• Good Oral and Written skills in English.
