Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS), Patna, an autonomous superspeciality institute under the Government of Bihar, has announced vacancies for faculty positions in various departments as per Advertisement No.03/Faculty/IGIMS/ESTT./2025.

In accordance with the IGIMS Recruitment Faculty 2025 Job Notification, candidates with qualifications such as MD in Nuclear Medicine, M.Sc in Medical Physics with relevant experience, or equivalent qualifications are eligible to apply.

The selection for the desired posts will be based on merit, determined through an interview.

The selected candidates will receive a monthly basic pay of Rs.101500, along with additional allowances.

Eligibility Criteria for IGIMS Faculty Posts:

Total Vacancies: 7

Name of the Posts: Assistant Professor

Nuclear Medicine: 4 Posts

Medical Physics: 3 Posts

Age Limit:

The upper age limit is 50 years as of the last date of application submission. Age relaxation is applicable as per Bihar Government rules:

Educational Qualifications:

Assistant Professor (Nuclear Medicine):

MD in Nuclear Medicine or an equivalent qualification.

3 years of teaching/research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree.

Assistant Professor (Medical Physics):

M.Sc in Medical Physics or equivalent with a postgraduate diploma in Radiological Physics.

3 years of teaching/research experience in the respective field.

Selection Process:

Based on an interview.
