Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal (IISER Bhopal) invites applications for the Senior Project Associate position under a research project funded by SERB, DST, New Delhi, Government of India. The appointment is purely on a contractual basis for an initial period of one year, extendable based on satisfactory performance.

As per the IISER Bhopal Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Electronics, or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics Engineering with relevant experience are eligible to apply.

The selection for the Senior Project Associate position will be based on merit, determined through an interview.

The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹42,000, plus HRA as applicable.

Educational Qualifications:

• Essential Qualifications:
  • Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Electronics
  • OR Bachelor of Engineering/Technology degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 7.5 and above on a scale of 10.
  • Four years of experience in Research & Development in Computer Science (preferably in software design, software development, or formal methods/model checking) in Industrial and Academic Institutions, Science & Technology Organizations, or Scientific Services.
  • OR Doctoral Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Strong background in logic and discrete mathematics.
  • Prior experience in software design and implementation, development of software tools, or building machine learning pipelines.
  • Good analytical and reasoning skills.

Age Limit:

• Candidates should be below 40 years of age on the last date of application.
