Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Junior Nurse & Project Technician 2025 Job Notification | 12th/ANM/Diploma/B.Sc. | Walk-in interview

Department of Pediatrics, PGIMER, Chandigarh, invites applications for the posts of Junior Nurse and Project Technician for an ICMR-funded project titled "The incidence of SARS-CoV-2 infection among newborn babies born to SARS-CoV-2 IgG seropositive and seronegative pregnant women: A multicenter cohort study." The appointments are purely on a contractual basis.

As per the PGIMER Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a certificate in ANM with five years of experience or a 12th pass in science with a diploma in MLT or relevant experience are eligible to apply.

The selection for the Junior Nurse and Project Technician posts will be based on a walk-in interview.

The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs.20,000 + 20% HRA, as per ICMR guidelines.

Interested and eligible candidates must attend the walk-in interview on 05-02-2025 at 2:00 PM at the COVID Lab, Advanced Trauma Center (ATC), Near Emergency, Nehru Hospital, PGIMER, Chandigarh, with their original documents for verification.

Eligibility Criteria for PGIMER Junior Nurse & Project Technician Posts

Educational Qualifications

• Junior Nurse:
  • High school or equivalent with science subjects.
  • Certificate course in ANM with a minimum of five years' experience from a recognized institute or board.
  • Experience certificate is mandatory.
• Project Technician:
  • 12th standard pass in science subjects.
  • Two-year diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).
  • OR One-year diploma in MLT with one year of experience in a recognized organization.
  • OR Two years of field or laboratory experience in a government-recognized organization.
  • A B.Sc. degree will be considered equivalent to three years of experience.

Age Limit

• Junior Nurse: Maximum 28 years
• Project Technician: Maximum 30 years

Pay Scale

• ₹20,000 per month + 20% HRA (as per ICMR guidelines).
