In the latest job notification, TNPSC announces job vacancies for Assistant Agricultural Officer posts in Tamil Nadu Agricultural Extension Subordinate Service to fill 580 positions on direct basis, in reference to Notification No. 39/ 2018.

Under TNPSC Assistant Agricultural Officer Recruitment 2018, candidates completed Higher Secondary/Diploma in relevant subjects can apply.

On basis of Written Exam, an applicant for the desired post will be finalized on merit.

The selected candidate will be recruited, with salary pay of Rs. 20,600-65,500 per month.

An interested and qualified candidate has to apply through online mode by 27.01.2019.

Age Limit:

As on 01.07.2018, Candidate age limit should be 18 to 30 years.

An applicant from reserved and special categories, the upper age limit is relaxed as per Govt. guidelines.

Education Qualification:

Should complete Higher Secondary (plus two) Examination  + two years Diploma in Agriculture from the Institutions recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu or affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University; or Gandhigram Rural Institute, Dindigul District; or any other institutions under the control of the Commissioner of Agriculture.

On basis of Written Exam.

Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 100 through online.

Reserved aspirants are exempted from paying a fee.
