The Airports Authority of India (AAI), Eastern Region, invites online applications from eligible candidates domiciled in West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Sikkim for the posts of Senior Assistant (Electronics), Senior Assistant (Accounts), and Senior Assistant (Official Language). The appointments are for various AAI Airports/Establishments in the region.

As per the AAI Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication/Radio Engineering, Graduation (preferably B.Com), or Master’s degree in Hindi/English with relevant translation experience are eligible to apply.

The selection process will consist of a Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by a Computer Literacy Test wherever applicable. Final selection will be made based on CBT merit and qualifying the skill tests.

The selected candidates will be appointed at the NE-6 pay level, drawing a salary of ₹36,000–3%–₹1,10,000 along with perks, allowances, and other admissible benefits as per AAI rules.

Educational Qualifications

Senior Assistant (Electronics):

• Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication/Radio Engineering.
• Two years of relevant post-qualification experience.

Senior Assistant (Accounts):

• Graduate, preferably in B.Com, with computer literacy in MS Office.
• Two years of relevant post-qualification experience.

Senior Assistant (Official Language):

• Master's in Hindi with English at Graduation level OR Master's in English with Hindi at Graduation level.
• OR Master’s in any subject with Hindi and English as compulsory/optional/medium of examination at graduation level.
• OR Graduation with Hindi and English, along with a Diploma in Translation or two years of translation experience.
• Computer literacy test in MS Office (Hindi) is mandatory.
• Two years of relevant post-qualification experience.

Age Limit:

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 30 years as on 01-07-2025
• OBC: 3 years relaxation
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
• Additional relaxations as per Government of India rules for other categories

• SC/ST/Women/Ex-Servicemen/AAI Apprentices: Exempted
