The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), under the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, invites applications for the engagement of Consultant (SPS-TBT Related Matters) on a contractual basis at its office in New Delhi.

As per the APEDA Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a Master’s degree in Agriculture, International Trade, Foreign Trade, Law, B.A. LLB (Hons), or an MBA in Agri-Business Management, International Business, or Foreign Trade, along with relevant experience, are eligible to apply.

The selection for the consultant post will be based on merit, determined through an interview.

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly salary of ₹1,40,000 as per the project norms.

Educational Qualifications:

• Consultant (SPS-TBT Related Matters)
  • Must not be more than 45 years of age on the last date of application submission.
  • Must hold a Master’s degree in Agriculture, International Trade, Foreign Trade, Law, B.A. LLB (Hons), or an MBA in Agri-Business Management, International Business, or Foreign Trade.
  • A consistently good academic record with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade) in both bachelor's and master's degrees.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience, including at least 1 year in WTO/SPS-TBT/Trade-related issues.
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience in international trade law, SPS and TBT measures, and WTO law and policy.
  • Research experience in international trade and policy, especially related to WTO/SPS-TBT measures in agriculture.
