Responsibilities:

• Lead from front in order manage production outage (Incident / Problem Management) and ensure proper communications are sent out in time.
• Understand the basic functionality of Business and its dependent upstream requirements.
• Ensure that the business queries are answered and resolved within defined SLA.
• Ensure that the daily batch / processing is running fine and completes within defined SLA's.
• Automate the Manual work as and when required using Bank defined tools.
• Improve the efficiency of environment by re-engineering the process to remove redundancies.
• Build good relationship with Business users, CIO/Dev partners and other support teams.
• Work on additional projects for improving production efficiency as well as reducing risk

Foundational Skills:

• Hands on experience in UNIX / Linux/INFORMATICA
• Experience in SQL with any Database (Oracle OR SQL)

Desired skills:

• Aware of ITIL concepts like Incident / Problem / Change / Service Management.
• Knowledge/ Exposure to Linux shell scripts
• Exposure to OO languages like Java,.Net or Python would be an advantage
