Job Responsibilities:

Designs, develops and maintains complex databases. Creates procedures for the design, implementation, and test of database backup, recovery systems, database migration and archiving systems and procedures.

Creates plans for the implementation of a database security infrastructure.

Consults with architects and technical specialists to identify proper hardware and software implementations.

Demonstrates industry best practices and skills with, oracle databases, RAC, backup and recovery, UNIX and Linux operating systems, and performance tuning.

Plans, installs and tests software upgrades and patches. Provides input on organizational standards for database monitoring thresholds. Monitors performance trends to identify and correct problems.

Applies extensive job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts. Has full knowledge of other related disciplines. Recognized as a job expert within the department/organization.

Participates as an active team member and participant in on call, planned maintenance, production outages, and projects.

Creates procedures for design, implementation, and testing of backup and recovery systems by working with the customer to meet requirements and align with corporate disaster recovery guidelines. Creates documentation for backup and recovery. Defines database validation requirements to ensure database integrity & others.

Key Skills:

Must have extensive hands-on knowledge with Oracle EBS Applications R12 and 11i in a production environment.

Must have proven experience in installation, configuration, and administration of third party products integrated with EBS

Ability to perform installations, configurations, upgrades, and advanced clone/patching of Oracle ERP applications, Oracle RDBMS, and Weblogic and SOA (configure and setup of load balancing, fault tolerance)

Ability to provide Oracle application systems administration including user account management and maintenance e.g., assigning printers, configuring and monitoring Concurrent Manager (CM) queues, scheduling jobs, setting up profile options and setup/configuration/administration of Oracle alerts and workflow mailer

Must have experience providing production support to Oracle EBS Database and Core Oracle Databases.

Experienced in guiding the successful completion of database-related projects.

Represents the database team with integrity and a prime contact regarding Oracle EBS.

Demonstrates industry best practices and skills with EBS, oracle databases, RAC, backup, and recovery, UNIX and Linux operating systems, and performance tuning.

Must have Oracle EBS 11i/12 Apps DBA experience

Must have experience performing Database administration in an Oracle Production environment

Must have Oracle Enterprise Manager Experience; prefer Oracle 12c Cloud Control.

Must have Database administration experience with Oracle 10g/11g on Linux/Unix

Must have UNIX and Linux Operating system experience & others.
