The BPSC Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2017 notification announced to fill Assistant Engineer posts for disciplines Civil & Mechanical.

Eligible and interested candidates need to send application and other necessary documents through post before proclaimed date.

Followed by eligibility proof, applicant has to undertake exam process which is set in UPSC framework Prelims, Mains and Interview. And upon Certificate verification, Medical tests and proceeding with selection criteria.

Candidate will be finally selected for applied post, and given remuneration on lines with announced Pay scales mentioned in notification.

Name Of The Posts:

- Assistant Engineer (Civil) : 1243 Vacancies

-  Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): 102 Vacancies

Age Limit: For male candidates from unreserved category Min age is 21 years and Max 37 years. For candidates from BC & EBC (Male & Female) and Female unreserved candidates upper limit is 40 years.

As for candidates fall under the reserved category SC/ ST candidates (Male & Female) max age is 42 years.

Education Qualification:

Assistant Engineer (Civil): Degree/ Diploma in Civil Engineering from any recognized university.

Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any recognized university

Selection Process: Applicants need to undertake Prelims and Mains Exam and followed Interview. Candidates will be recruited based on his/her merit list and followed selection criteria rules.

Application Fee: Rs. 809/- need to paid towards application payment for candidates from other category. And Rs. 259/- for SC/ ST & PH candidates.

And the application payment for Assistant Engineer (Civil/Mechanical) posts need to paid through challan at any branch of State bank of India towards the mentioned Bank account number in notification.
