In the latest job notification, Calcutta HC announces job vacancies for LDA posts to fill 200 positions on a temporary basis on the Original Side and on the Appellate Side establishments of the High Court at Calcutta, in reference to Advertisement No.5442-RG.

Under Calcutta High Court Lower Division Assistant Recruitment 2018, candidates completed Higher Secondary Examination are required to apply.

On basis of Preliminary Screening Test, Competitive Written Test, and Viva-Voce Test, an applicant for the announced vacancy will be finalized on merit.

Selected candidate on merit will be recruited on a purely temporary basis but are likely to be made permanent, with salary pay of Rs.5,400 - Rs.25,200 per month.

Age Limit:

As on 1st January 2018, Candidate age limit should be 18 to 40 years.

An applicant from reserved and special categories, the upper age limit is relaxed as per Govt. guidelines.

Education Qualification:

Should have passed in the Higher Secondary Examination (12th standard) from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent examination from a recognized Council/ Board + Must have knowledge in the vernacular of the State.

Selection Process:

On basis of Preliminary Screening Test, Competitive Written Test, and Viva-Voce Test.

Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 500 + Charges through online/offline mode.

SC/ST/to pay fee of Rs 250 + Charges.
