The Central University of Karnataka (CUK) invites applications for the post of Junior Engineer (Electrical) under direct recruitment. The appointment is for a regular position in the university.

As per the CUK Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with one year of experience or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with three years of relevant experience are eligible to apply.

The selection for the Junior Engineer (Electrical) post will be based on a written test and/or a skill test.

The selected candidates will receive a salary under Level 6 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, ranging from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400.

Educational Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute/university with one year of relevant experience

OR

Diploma in Electrical Engineering with three years of experience in a relevant field in CPWD/State PWD or similar organized services/statutory or autonomous organizations/central/state universities/reputed private construction companies with an annual turnover of at least ₹200 crores.

Age Limit:

• Upper Age Limit: 35 years
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years (Additional relaxation for reserved categories as per norms)
