Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), a Scientific Society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, invites applications for the Associate (Full-time) position at its Software Technology Development Centre (STDC), C-DAC, Thiruvananthapuram. The position is contractual, primarily focused on marketing C-DAC training programs and facilitating student placements.

As per the CDAC Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a graduate degree are eligible to apply.

The selection will be based on shortlisting followed by an interview. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email.

The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.35,000 to Rs.55,000, based on evaluation and interview performance.

Educational Qualifications

• Graduate degree (3 years) from a recognized university with at least 55% marks.
• Desirable: Two-year full-time MBA/Postgraduate degree in Business Management/Administration/Marketing or an equivalent professional qualification.

Experience Requirement

• Minimum 3 years of experience in placement-related activities in the ICT domain.

Required Skill Sets

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to build strong industry relations for placements.
• Proficiency in social media marketing, branding, and digital campaigns.
• Knowledge of marketing techniques and job portals.

Age Limit

• Maximum 40 years as of 01-01-2025.

Place of Posting

• Initial posting: Mumbai

Contract Duration

• 12 months from the date of appointment or until project completion, whichever is earlier.
• Extension is at the discretion of C-DAC.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with industries for student placements.
• Market C-DAC training programs and conduct placement drives.
• Identify and reach out to potential employers via job portals like Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn, and Shine.
• Coordinate with training teams to organize industry lectures.
• Arrange training sessions for students on soft skills and interview preparation.
• Manage promotional campaigns on social media.
• Develop marketing materials like brochures, blogs, and presentations.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting based on eligibility criteria.
• Evaluation by the Consultancy Evaluation Committee.
• Interview (offline/online) for shortlisted candidates.
• Final selection based on highest evaluation score.

Remuneration and Benefits

• Monthly remuneration between ₹35,000 and ₹55,000, as decided by the Consultancy Evaluation Committee.
• Attendance-based salary deduction policy.
• Eligible for official travel reimbursement as per C-DAC rules.
• Entitled to 8 days of leave during the tenure.
• Tax deductions as applicable.
