Job Responsibilities:

Help customers instrument, monitor, and debug their large multi-tiered complex applications.

Approach each new project as a mentoring opportunity, assigning tasks and milestones appropriate to team members & skillset

Write applications in all the available PHP, Node.js, Python, and GoLang stacks; learn new stacks and technologies and apply our instrumentation to these applications. While less of a priority, this role will also include writing applications in C/C++, Apache, IIB, SAP, and Ruby.

Work on product bug fixes and feature development around customer-related enhancements/issues.

Replicate customer environments and work with the engineering team to identify & fix the root cause or provide an interim workaround as needed.

Provide advanced technical support and work with customers to solve complex issues with the product in their environment.

Build internal and customer-facing tools and extensions.

Identify product bugs and enhancements based on customer's environments and work with the development team to close them.

Educational Qualification: BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Experience: 4+ years of in-depth software development or maintenance experience in at least two of the following languages (Node.js, PHP, Python), extensive debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Broad experience with open source web application frameworks like Zend Framework, Symfony, Cake, CodeIgniter, etc.

Extensive experience in configuring Apache or Nginx.

Experience with object-oriented/modular programming.

Good knowledge of web protocols, formats, and server environments.

Strong knowledge of Unix / Linux environments, with scripting in Bash, Perl or Python.

Outstanding attention to detail, specification, and ability to troubleshoot/fix complex problems in the customer environment and customer-facing professionalism.
