In the latest job notification, Cochin Shipyard announces job vacancies for trainee posts for different profiles, in reference to No.P&A/6(90)/02-Vol VII.

Under Cochin Shipyard Ship Draftsman Trainee Recruitment 2019, candidates completed 10th/Diploma are required to apply.

On the basis of Diploma Marks, Objective type Online Test and Practical Test, an applicant for the desired post will be finalized on merit.

The selected candidate will undergo training for a period of two years, with stipend pay of maximum Rs. 11,500 per month.

Age Limit:

As on 02 May 2019, Candidate maximum age limit should be 25 years.

An applicant from reserved and special categories, the upper age limit is relaxed as per Govt. guidelines.

Education Qualification:

Should Pass in SSLC and Three-year Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical / Electrical disciplines issued by a State Board of Technical Education with 60% marks or equivalent qualification with flair for Draftsmanship and proficiency in CAD.

Selection Process:

On the basis of Diploma Marks, Objective type Online Test and Practical.

Application Fee:

Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs. 100 through online mode.

Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) need not pay an application fee. They are exempted from payment of application fee.
