Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), its Recruitment & Assessment Centre (RAC) has announced job notification to fill 76 Scientist/ Engineer vacancies.

Under DRDO 2017 Recruitment Scientist/ Engineer notification, RAC looking for eligible candidates for Scientist/ Engineer posts who completed Bachelor and Master Degrees in relevant engineering disciplines.

The total announced vacancies are for DRDO and Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) under Ministry of Defense.

Candidates for the applied posts will be screened initially and selected based on Interview. The final selected applicants for the desired post is done solely on merit basis and other selection process stipulation mentioned in notification.

The final selected candidates for the post will receive pay band of upto Rs 80,000/- p.m

Age Limit: As on closing date of advertisement, candidate should have upper age limit of 30 years. For applicants from OBC (Non-creamy layer) and SC/ST and other categories is the max age relaxation available is 10 years.

Education Qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech from relevant engineering disciplines from recognized institutions.

Selection Process: Applicant for the post will undergo screening initially, where able and desired candidate for the DRDO RAC Scientist/ Engineer position will be provisionally selected based on his/her Gate score 2015/16/2017 and screening based on percentage of qualifying exam marks.

Applicants who are finalized in screening will then be asked to come for Interview. And final list of job aspirants for the announced vacancies will be selected based on merit and other selection criteria as per rules.

Application Fee: General and OBC (Male) candidates need to pay Rs 100/- through online mode. For applicants form SC/ST /PwD and women candidates are exempted to pay the fee.
