Role:

• Respond to incident tickets related to Global Network Operations, ensuring resolution within defined SLAs.
• Monitor alerts proactively using SolarWinds, perform initial diagnostics, and escalate to Level-2 teams as needed.
• Execute planned maintenance activities, including code upgrades for switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Implement infrastructure changes to address vulnerabilities identified in Cisco switches, SD-WAN routers, and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Process firewall access requests in compliance with organizational security policies.

What you'll bring:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support roles such as Service Desk or Desktop Support, with a strong foundation in troubleshooting and customer service.
• Hands-on experience with incident management tools and familiarity with ITIL processes.
• Exposure to network troubleshooting (e.g., basic switch/router diagnostics, IP addressing, DNS/DHCP issues).
• Demonstrated ability to follow standard operating procedures and escalate issues appropriately.
• Eagerness to grow in network operations, with a proactive mindset toward learning and certification.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent, or actively pursuing one.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
