Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning: Collaborates with cross-functional teams to create detailed test plans, focusing on firmware validation for IoT Devices, EDC, NFC, FastTag, Bluetooth, and microcontroller-based products.
• Test Development:  Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and frameworks to validate firmware functionality across various embedded technologies.
• Test Execution:  Execute test cases, identify issues, and report defects promptly. Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of identified problems.
• Regression Testing:  Perform regression testing to validate that firmware updates or changes do not adversely affect functionality across the range of embedded technologies.
• Performance Testing:  Conduct performance and stress testing to assess the capabilities and limits of firmware in different use cases.
• Test Environment Setup:  Set up and maintain test environments and testbeds to simulate real-world usage scenarios for IoT Devices and embedded products.
• Documentation:  Document test procedures, results, and identified issues systematically and comprehensively.
• Collaborations: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including firmware developers, hardware engineers, and product managers, to align on firmware validation goals and priorities.
• Continuous Improvement:  Identify opportunities for process improvements in firmware validation, test automation, and testing tools.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Years of experience: 6-10 Years - proven experience in firmware validation and testing, with expertise in IoT Devices and multiple embedded technologies (EDC, NFC, FastTag, Bluetooth, microcontroller-based systems)
• Familiarity with wireless communication protocols, MQTT and IoT (Internet of Things) devices.
• Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, JAVA, C/C++) for test automation.
• Familiarity with audio processing, speech recognition, and audio testing.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Knowledge of hardware-software integration testing.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
