ICMR-NIRT Assistant, UDC & LDC 2025 Job Notification | Graduation, 12th Pass | Apply Now
The ICMR-National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (ICMR-NIRT), Chennai, under the Indian Council of Medical Research, invites online applications for the recruitment of Assistant, Upper Division Clerk (UDC), and Lower Division Clerk (LDC) positions under the administrative cadre. These appointments will be made through direct recruitment.
As per the NIRT Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a Graduation degree, 12th Pass qualification, and proficiency in computer applications are eligible to apply.
The selection for the desired posts will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by a skill test, wherever applicable.
The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary as per the Pay Level of the 7th CPC, ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹1,12,400.

Eligibility Criteria for ICMR-NIRT Assistant, UDC & LDC Posts:
Total Vacancies: 16
Name of the Posts:
- Assistant – 5 Posts
- Upper Division Clerk (UDC) – 1 Post
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC) – 10 Posts
Educational Qualifications:
- Assistant (ASST01):
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Working knowledge of computers (MS Office/PowerPoint).
- Upper Division Clerk (UDC02):
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Typing speed: 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer.
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC03):
- 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Typing speed: 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer.
