The International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), Hyderabad, invites applications for the position of Senior Research Fellow – Full Stack Developer under the Monsoon Mission-III project, funded by the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India. The appointment is purely on a contractual basis for a period of 36 months.

As per the ICRISAT Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates holding a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields, along with 2–3 years of relevant experience in full-stack development, are eligible to apply.

The selection will be based on shortlisting followed by an interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly salary as per project norms.

Educational Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in full-stack development (preferably in decision support platforms or ICT applications).

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with Django, Django REST, MySQL, Apache Druid, PyDruid, HTML/CSS (Bootstrap), JavaScript/jQuery.
• Familiarity with React, Angular, Vue.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, API development, Gunicorn, NGINX, Tomcat, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of charting libraries, LLM integration, WhatsApp bots, multilingual messaging, and geospatial/climate data handling.
