Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) Project Engineer-I (Civil) 2025 Job Notification | B.E/B.Tech | Walk-in

The Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA), Bengaluru, invites applications for the position of Project Engineer-I (Civil) under a contractual appointment. This is a temporary position at IIA, Bengaluru, with responsibilities related to civil engineering supervision and project execution.

As per the IIA Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a full-time B.E/B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering and relevant work experience are eligible to apply.

The selection for the desired post will be based on a walk-in interview.

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹64,000/-.

Interested and qualified candidates must attend the walk-in interview at IIA, Bengaluru, on 27-03-2025. Registration for the interview will be open from 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM, and late entries will not be entertained.

Educational Qualifications:

• Full-time B.E/B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institution under UGC or Central/State Government regulations.

Essential Experience:

• Minimum eight (08) years of experience post-graduation in major civil engineering projects, including supervision, construction of buildings, laboratories, roads, and renovation/maintenance of structures.
• Proficiency in CPWD rules, preparation of estimates, tendering, and project execution in a reputed industry or research organization.
• Experience with AUTOCAD and STAAD PRO software.

Age Limit:

• Maximum age: 35 years
• Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and physically handicapped candidates as per Government of India norms.
