The Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), an autonomous institute under the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, invites applications for the position of Full-Time Financial Consultant on a purely contractual basis for an initial period of three years, extendable up to five years or until the age of 65, whichever is earlier.

As per the IACS Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a graduate degree and an All India Level Professional Qualification in finance and accounts are eligible to apply.

The selection process will be based on merit, including evaluation of qualifications and experience, followed by an interview.

The selected candidate will receive a fixed monthly remuneration of ₹56,100, with an annual increment of 3%.

Educational Qualifications

• Graduation with All India Level Professional Qualification in finance and accounts such as:
• Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)
• Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI-CMA)
• SAS or equivalent examination

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance and Accounts in Government/PSU/Autonomous Bodies.
• Experience in internal finance, budgeting, taxation, and finalization of annual accounts.
• Knowledge of PFMS, GFR 2017, Accounting Software, and Statistical Packages.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Internet-based applications.

Age Limit

Maximum Age: 62 years (for retired government officials).
