Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) invites applications for the post of Consultant (Academic) – Full Time for the Sindhi Chair, housed in the School of Translation Studies & Training (SOTST). The appointment is purely on a contractual basis for six months, extendable up to two years based on satisfactory performance.

As per the IGNOU Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with an M.A. in Sindhi and knowledge of Hindi are eligible to apply. NET qualification or a Ph.D. in Sindhi or a relevant subject is desirable.

The selection for the Consultant (Academic) post will be based on merit, determined through an interview.

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly salary ranging from ₹40,000 to ₹60,000.
