The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), an apex financial institution wholly owned by the Government of India, invites applications for the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position on a contractual basis at its Head Office in Mumbai. The appointment is purely contractual for a fixed tenure.

As per the NABARD Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a Chartered Accountant qualification along with additional preferred qualifications such as CMA (erstwhile ICWAI), MBA (Finance), FRM Certification, CFA, or CAIIB, and relevant work experience are eligible to apply.

The selection for the CFO position will be based on an interview, where candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:3 based on their qualifications and experience.

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated annual salary ranging between ₹75 lakh and ₹85 lakh, subject to negotiation, along with applicable benefits as per NABARD norms.

• Essential Qualification:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Preferred Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role handling accounts and taxation in Banks, Financial Institutions, or large corporate organizations.
• Additional weightage may be given to candidates with banking or financial institution experience.

Age Limit:

• Minimum: 45 years
• Maximum: 57 years
