National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC), under the National Health Mission (NHM), Government of India, invites applications for the Consultant – Healthcare Technology (Health Technology Assessment) position on a contractual basis.
As per the NHSRC Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a Master’s degree in Economics and experience in economic evaluation and modeling are eligible to apply.
The selection process will be based on shortlisting followed by an interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further selection rounds.
The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary between Rs.60,000 - Rs.1,20,000, based on qualifications and experience.

Educational Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Economics (Regular courses only).
Desirable Qualifications
- Training or experience in economic evaluation and modeling.
- Minimum two years of post-qualification experience in public health systems.
- Published work in health technology assessments, economic evaluation, or meta-analysis.
- Experience in compiling health technology assessment reports.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based research tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
- Knowledge of health systems development.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 45 years as of the last date of application submission.
Work Location
- NHSRC, New Delhi, with travel to states and districts as required.
Salary
- ₹60,000 – ₹1,20,000 per month (based on qualification and experience).
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct economic evaluations of emerging healthcare technologies.
- Perform systematic reviews and meta-analysis for research publications.
- Undertake literature reviews on healthcare technologies.
- Collect and analyze data on technology costs and pricing.
- Review safety, legal, ethical, and social impacts of healthcare technologies.
- Prepare Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Reports.
- Travel to states and districts to collect technical information and synthesize research findings.
