National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar, Assam, invites applications for the post of Project Associate-I under the MEITY-sponsored project titled "Capacity Building for Human Resource Development in Unmanned Aircraft System (Drone and Related Technology)." The appointment is purely on a temporary basis.

In accordance with the NIT Silchar Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with M.E./M.Tech. in relevant fields are eligible to apply.

The selection for the desired post will be based on merit, determined through an interview conducted online/hybrid mode for shortlisted candidates.

The selected candidate will receive a monthly consolidated salary ranging from Rs.25000 to Rs.31000, depending on qualifications (NET/GATE or equivalent).

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 35 years as of the closing date of application, with relaxation applicable as per Government of India rules.

Educational Qualifications

• Essential: M.E./M.Tech. in CSE/ECE/EIE/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent fields.
• Desirable: Knowledge in IoT, Machine Learning, Image Processing, Drone Technology, and Aerodynamics.

Selection Process

Based on an interview conducted in online/hybrid mode. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email.
