North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO), a Mini Ratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, invites applications for the positions of Executive Trainee and Assistant Company Secretary (Trainee) across multiple disciplines. These appointments are for young, dynamic professionals with strong academic backgrounds.

As per the NEEPCO Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with qualifications in Engineering, Finance (CA/CMA), Human Resources (MBA/PG Diploma), Geology (M.Sc/M.Tech), IT (B.E/B.Tech/MCA), Law (LLB), and Company Secretary are eligible to apply.

The selection for the advertised positions will be conducted through an online/offline personal interview of shortlisted candidates based on merit.

Selected candidates will be placed in the E-2 grade pay scale of ₹50,000-3%-1,60,000 (IDA), with total monthly emoluments of approximately ₹1,00,000, along with additional benefits as per company norms.

Educational Qualifications

• Executive Trainee (Electrical)
  • Full-time B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.)/AMIE in Electrical Engineering with at least 65% marks (55% for SC/ST).
  • Candidates must have appeared and qualified in GATE 2024 (Electrical Engineering).
• Executive Trainee (Finance)
  • Passed the final examination of CA (ICAI) or CMA (ICAI) and hold a valid Membership Certificate.
• Executive Trainee (Human Resources)
  • Graduate with MBA/PG Diploma in HR/Industrial Relations/Personnel Management (minimum 2 years) with 65% marks (55% for SC/ST).
  • Candidates must have appeared in UGC-NET 2024 (June cycle) in Labour Welfare/HRM and secured at least 40% in both papers.
• Executive Trainee (Geology)
  • Full-time M.Sc/M.Tech in Applied Geology with at least 65% marks (55% for SC).
  • Candidates must have appeared and qualified in GATE 2024 (Geology/Geophysics).
• Executive Trainee (IT)
  • Full-time B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Computer Science/IT/Electronics or MCA with at least 65% marks (55% for SC).
  • Candidates must have appeared and qualified in GATE 2024 (Computer Science).
• Executive Trainee (Law)
  • Graduate with LLB (three-year full-time course).
  • Two years of experience as an Advocate or in Judicial Service or PSU legal representation.
  • Candidates must have appeared and qualified in CLAT 2025 (PG Courses).
• Assistant Company Secretary (Trainee)
  • Graduate and a Qualified Company Secretary with valid ICSI Membership.
  • Law degree is desirable.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience in corporate law and compliance.

Age Limits (As on 01-01-2025)

• General/EWS: 30 years
• OBC (NCL): 33 years
• SC/ST: 35 years
• Age relaxation as per Government of India norms.
