National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) Assistant Programmer & Sr. Programmer 2025 Job Notification | B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech | Walk-in

The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Delhi, invites applications for the positions of Assistant Programmer ‘B’ and Sr. Programmer on a contract basis. The empanelment of IT Resource Persons is for deployment in government offices in Delhi/NCR.

As per the NIELIT Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with B.E/B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech, or equivalent qualifications in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Applications are eligible to apply.

The selection for the desired posts will be based on merit, determined through an interview.

The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of ₹28,941 for Assistant Programmer ‘B’ and ₹51,885 for Sr. Programmer, as per project norms.

Educational Qualifications

• Assistant Programmer ‘B’ – (C)
  • B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Applications.
  • MCA or B.Sc (Computer Science & Engg – 4-year degree course) from an AICTE/UGC-recognized institution.
  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in technologies like J2EE, Java, Oracle, SQL, .NET, HTML5, JavaScript, Angular, Web Services, etc.
• Sr. Programmer – (C)
  • B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Applications.
  • MCA or B.Sc (Computer Science & Engg – 4-year degree course) from an AICTE/UGC-recognized institution.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Java, JSP, Servlet, AJAX, HTML, ORACLE, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, Angular, Spring, Hibernate, JBoss, Weblogic, WebSphere, and related technologies.

Age Limit

• The cutoff date for calculating age is the previous date of the walk-in interview.

Application Fee

• ₹550/- (Non-refundable) to be deposited through Net Banking/IMPS in the designated NIELIT account.

Steps to Apply

1. Attend the walk-in interview on 03-03-2025 at the NIELIT, Delhi Centre.
2. Register between 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
3. Bring original and self-attested copies of documents, including educational qualifications, experience certificates, and valid photo ID.
4. Ensure payment of the ₹550/- registration fee before the interview.
