The National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) invites applications for the Junior Analyst (CIL) position under a temporary tenure-based project. The appointment is purely on a contractual basis for an initial period of six months, extendable based on performance.

As per the NIFTEM Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Food Safety and Quality Management, Dairy Technology, Food Science and Nutrition, or Food Science and Technology are eligible to apply.

The selection for the Junior Analyst (CIL) position will be based on merit, determined through an interview.

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly salary of ₹35,400, as per the project norms.

• Essential Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Food Safety and Quality Management, Dairy Technology, Food Science and Nutrition, or Food Science and Technology.
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • PhD in the relevant fields.
  • Experience in handling analytical food laboratory instruments like ICPMS, ICPOES, LC-MS/MS, HPLC, GCMS, and GC-FID for the detection and quantification of minerals, vitamins, pesticides, and other parameters.

Age Limit:

• Maximum 35 years (relaxation as per Government of India rules).
