The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra, invites applications for Research Assistant and Field Investigator positions under the ICSSR-sponsored project titled "Impact Assessment of Pradhan Mantri Street Vendor's AtmaNirbhar Nidhi Yojna (PM SVANidhi) on Street Vendors in Urban Haryana." The appointments are purely on a contractual basis for the duration of the project.

As per the NITKKR Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a Postgraduate degree in Social Science disciplines with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to apply. NET/M.Phil/Ph.D. is required for the Research Assistant position.

The selection for the mentioned posts will be based on a walk-in interview. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email.

The selected candidates will receive a monthly consolidated salary as per ICSSR project norms—₹37,000 for Research Assistant and ₹20,000 for Field Investigator.
