The National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, invites applications for the position of Junior Project Assistant under the CSIR-funded R&D project titled “Design and fabrication of on-chip vertical hybrid plasmonic waveguide based nanograting gas sensor.” The appointment is purely on a contract basis for one year, extendable based on performance.

As per the NITK Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent degree in relevant engineering or technology disciplines are eligible to apply.

The selection process will be based on the merit of applications and may include an interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly salary of ₹12,000. Additionally, the candidate will be eligible to register for the M.Tech (Research) program at NITK, Surathkal.
