Oil India Limited (OIL) has announced walk-in engagement for 02 Contractual Electrician and Contractual Associate Engineer (Electrical) posts for eligible candidates domiciled in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

As per the Oil India Limited Recruitment 2026 Notification, candidates with Class 10 along with ITI/Trade Certificate or Diploma qualifications can apply for Contractual Electrician and Contractual Associate Engineer (Electrical) posts.

Candidates will be selected through Walk-in for Personal Assessment(s) carrying a total of 100 marks, with qualifying marks of 50 for all categories.

The selected candidates will receive fixed monthly emoluments of ₹21,450 and ₹24,960, along with variable emoluments of ₹825 and ₹960 per working day, respectively.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on Walk-in for Personal Assessment(s) of total 100 marks. The qualifying/pass marks are 50 for all categories. Candidates will be assessed on Professional Knowledge and skills in the concerned discipline, Professional Knowledge and skills in allied discipline, Personal Attributes and Soft Skills. Final selection will be based on merit as per marks obtained in the Walk-in for Personal Assessment(s), subject to securing the qualifying/pass marks.

Steps to Apply

1. Interested candidates who meet all the prescribed eligibility criteria are required to report for registration to appear in the Walk-in for Personal Assessment(s) as per the notified schedule.
2. To appear for the Walk-in for Personal Assessment(s), candidates must mandatorily complete the Registration at the venue between 07:00 A.M. and 09:00 A.M.
3. The process of Walk-in for Personal Assessment(s) will proceed as per the list of candidates registered for the same.
4. Before registering for Walk-in for Personal Assessment(s), candidates should ensure that they fulfil the requisite qualification, experience and other eligibility conditions mentioned in the advertisement.
5. If a candidate does not meet the eligibility conditions and other specifications mentioned in the advertisement, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the Walk-in for Personal Assessment(s).
6. During the process of Registration for Walk-in for Personal Assessment(s), information furnished by the candidate will be verified from the original documents.
7. Only candidates meeting the notified eligibility criteria will be allowed to appear in the Walk-in for Personal Assessment(s).
8. Candidates without original document(s)/certificate(s)/testimonial(s)/Licence will not be allowed to appear in the Walk-in for Personal Assessment(s).
9. Bring the filled-in Personal Bio-Data Form in original and a self-attested copy, with the format given on the last two pages of the advertisement.
10. Bring 01 recent 3cm X 3cm coloured passport photograph.
11. Bring valid Photo Identity Proof and valid Address Proof issued by Competent Government Authority.
12. Bring Date of Birth proof, i.e., Class 10th Certificate containing Date of Birth.
13. Bring Admit Card, Marksheet and Pass Certificate of Class 10th issued by the concerned Government Recognized Education Board; documents/certificates/testimonials of essential qualifications including all semester/years and Final Marksheet, Pass Certificate issued by Competent Authority and Experience Certificate(s), as applicable.
14. Bring valid Caste Certificate, Non-Creamy Layer certificate, Income and Asset Certificate, Disability Certificate, Discharge Book/Service and Release Certificate for Ex-Servicemen and other documents/certificates/testimonials from Competent Authority in support of candidature, including relevant Work Experience Certificate, as applicable.
15. Bring valid Electrical Workman’s Permit/valid Electrical Supervisory Certificate of Competency from Electrical Licensing Board, Government of Assam/Arunachal Pradesh, as applicable.
16. Bring valid No Objection Certificate signed by concerned Authority, if employed in Government Service/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Bodies.
17. Bring Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Member Pass Book, if available.
18. Bring Aadhar Card.
19. Bring PAN Card.
20. Bring Bank Pass Book.
21. Report at Duliajan Club, Oil India Limited, Duliajan on 07/10/2026 between 07:00 A.M. and 09:00 A.M. for registration and Walk-in for Personal Assessment(s).
