Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Non-Academic Senior Resident (Adhoc) 2025 Job Notification | MD/DNB | Walk-in

The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, is conducting a walk-in interview to fill one post of Non-Academic Senior Resident (Adhoc) in the Department of Clinical Hematology & Medical Oncology. The appointment is purely on an adhoc basis and will be valid up to 31st December 2025.

As per the PGIMER Recruitment 2025 Senior Resident Notification, candidates must hold a medical qualification recognized under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, be registered with a Central or State Medical Council, and possess an MD/DNB in Medicine, Radiotherapy, or Pediatrics (for Medical Oncology). Equivalent qualifications from an NMC-recognized university are also accepted.

The selection for the post will be made through a walk-in interview.

The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary as per PGIMER norms.

Interested and eligible Indian nationals should appear for the interview with their original certificates and a recent passport-sized color photograph. No separate interview letter will be issued, and no TA/DA will be provided.

Educational Qualifications

• Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• Registration with Central/State Medical Council.
• MD/DNB in Medicine or Radiotherapy or MD/DNB Pediatrics (for Medical Oncology) or equivalent from a university recognized by the National Medical Council of India.

Age Limits

• Upper Age Limit: 45 years
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC
• Persons with Disabilities: 10 years (Additional 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC)
