Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, invites applications for five posts of Non-DM Senior Residents in the Department of Hepatology on an ad-hoc basis. The appointment is valid until 30-06-2025 or until the joining of newly recruited faculty, whichever is earlier.

As per the PGIMER Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with an MD in Medicine and registered with the Central or State Medical Council are eligible to apply.

The selection process will be based on an interview to be conducted at PGIMER, Chandigarh.

The selected candidates will receive a salary as per PGIMER rules and regulations.

Educational Qualifications

• A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• Candidates possessing qualifications included in part-II of the third schedule must fulfill the conditions specified in section 13(3) of the Act.
• Must be registered with the Central or State Medical Council.
• MD in Medicine or equivalent.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 45 years on the last date of application submission.
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
  • OBC Candidates: 3 years

Pay Scale

• As per PGIMER rules and regulations.

• Mode of Selection: Walk-in Interview.
• Interview Date: 11-02-2024 at 12:30 PM.
• Venue: Room No. 36, Ground Floor, A2 Block, Nehru Hospital Extension Block, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
