The Railways Recruitment Cell of Southern Railways in an announcement released notification to fill vacancies under sports quota.

Under RRC Southern Railways 2017 Sports Quota, the Indian Railways was looking for eligible candidates athletes, and who have educational qualification of 12th/Degree to fill Level-2 to Level-5 posts.

Candidates for the posts will be selected followed by 4 stages of selection process Physical Fitness, Sports Achievement, Educational Qualification & Personality Test.

And those who have merit scores above cut-off marks which is different for reserved and non-reserved category would be finalized for the posts followed by document verification and medical examination.

No. Of Vacancies:  20.

Name Of The Posts:

- Level-2 to Level-5 posts.

Age Limit: Candidate should have age 18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2018 (and born between 01-01-2000 to 02-01-1993).

Education Qualification: Job applicants for Level 2& 3 posts should completed 12^th class and as for applicants for Level 4 & 5 candidates should completed graduation.

Selection Process: A person applying for the posts under RRC Southern Indian Railways Sports Quota, should achieve merit scores in four stages for selection process Physical Fitness, Sports Achievement, Educational Qualification & Personality Test.

Application Fee: Rs 500/- need to be paid either through DD or Indian Postal Order as processing fee for non-reservation candidates. For Female candidates, reserved category, PH and others have to pay of Rs 250/- toward address mentioned in the notification.

How To Apply: Candidate need to fill the application form in prescribed format and attached necessary all documents requested in notification that is must have and send it to RRC Chennai office.

For candidates from far-flung areas (mentioned in notification), the last date for receipt of application: 02-01-2018 at 17.00 Hrs.
