Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering & Research (SAMEER) is an autonomous Research & Development Institute under the Administrative control of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India.

In the latest employment notification, SAMEER announces job vacancies for Project Technician posts on a contract basis with work location at IIT Guwahati Campus for a sponsored project, in reference to Advertisement No.08 /2018.

Under SAMEER Project Technician Recruitment 2018, candidates completed ITI in relevant subjects with minimum qualification marks can apply.

On basis of Written test and Interview, an applicant for SAMEER Project Technician-B post will be finalized on merit.

The selected candidate will be recruited on contract basis for a period of 12 months or the duration of the project whichever is less, with salary pay of Rs. 19,100 per month.

An interested and qualified person has to walk-in on announced date and venue.

Eligibility Criteria For SAMEER Technician Posts:

Name of the post:  Project Technician [Electronics / Electronic Mechanic/ IT&ESM]

Education Qualification:

Should complete ITI (in Electronics/ Electronics-Mechanic/ IT&ESM) with minimum 55% marks, e issued by NCVT/SCVT or Provisional trade certificate, with minimum 5 years Experience.

Selection Process:

On basis of Written test and Interview.
