Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited TNEB TANGEDCO in a latest job announcement announces new vacancies for posts of Assistant Engineer for various disciplines through Notification No: 01/2018.

Under TNEB TANGEDCO Assistant Engineer Posts Recruitment 2018, candidates who completed engineering graduation in relevant disciplines EEE/ECE/EIE/CSE/IT and Civil are eligible to apply for announced vacancies.

Assistant Engineer (AE) posts are for TNEB LTD., TANTRANSCO and TANGEDCO state-funded electrical transmission and distribution companies.

Final candidate for the applied for post Assistant Engineer (Electrical) and Assistant Engineer (Civil) will be selected on basis of Written Examination.

Selected person will undergo training for a period of 6 months and later will recruited into above mentioned power companies with salary pay of Rs.10,100 – 34,800 + Grade pay Rs. 5100 /-.

• Electronics and Communication Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering – 21 Post.

2. Assistant Engineer (Civil) – 25 Posts.

Age Limit:

As on 01.07.2017, Candidate age should be between 18 to 30 years.

Applicants from reserved category maximum age relaxation is applicable as per govt. guidelines.

Education Qualification:

As on 14.02.2018

For Assistant Engineer (Electrical) Post: Applicant should completed a Bachelor degree in EEE/ECE/EIE/CSE/IT Engineering from recognized institution/university.

For Assistant Engineer (Civil) : Should completed  Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.

Selection Process:

Final aspirant for the applied post will be selected on merit score from Written Examination (Objective Type).

And should also posse’s knowledge in Tamil language.

The total examination duration will be 2 hours and exam paper consists of Paper-I, II and III.

Application Fee:

For OC, BCO, BCM, MBC/ DC aspirants have to pay Rs 590/- through offline or online mode.

SC, SCA, ST candidates have to pay Rs.295/-.

Destitute widow and Differently abled persons need to pay Rs.295/- towards application fee.
