Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council - Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (BRIC-THSTI), an institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, invites applications for Project Manager, Technical Officer-I, and Management Assistant positions on a contractual basis.

As per the THSTI Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with graduate or postgraduate degrees in relevant disciplines with required experience are eligible to apply.

The selection process will be based on shortlisting followed by an interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further selection rounds.

The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.60,000 to Rs.80,000, depending on the post and experience.

Project Manager (Business Development)

• Vacancies: 1
• Essential Qualification:
  • Graduation in Science or Engineering with a Postgraduate degree in Business Administration and one year of post-qualification experience.
• Desirable Qualification:
  • Basic degree in Life Sciences or Medical Sciences.
  • Experience in biotech or pharma industry.
• Age Limit: 35 years

Technical Officer-I

• Vacancies: 1
• Essential Qualification:
  • B.E/B.Tech in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or Bioinformatics with three years of experience.
  • OR M.Sc. in Life Sciences or Bioinformatics with two years of experience.
  • OR M.E/M.Tech in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or Bioinformatics.
• Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in omics data analysis using statistical techniques.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Bioconductor, ggplot2.
  • Knowledge of omics database development and management.
• Age Limit: 30 years

Management Assistant

• Vacancies: 1
• Essential Qualification:
  • Graduate in Finance with two years of experience in a PSU, Government, or Autonomous Institute.
  • OR MBA in Finance / CA / ICWA.
• Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in Utilization Certificate and Statement of Expenditure preparation.
  • Maintenance of Accounts as per Govt. of India guidelines.
  • Knowledge of Tally ERP9, GST, TDS deductions, and bank transactions.
  • Preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements.
  • Handling audits and financial reporting.
• Age Limit: 30 years
