Wildlife Institute of India ( WII), Dehradun, is an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, Government of India.

In the latest job notification, WII announces job vacancies for Scientist-C posts on a contract basis in reference to Notification No: WII/ADM/2026-27/38/204.

In accordance with the WII Recruitment Scientist-C Job Notification 2026, WII has announced vacancies for candidates who have completed Ph.D in relevant fields are eligible to apply.

The final selection of applicants for the desired post will be based on merit after the written test and interview.

The selected candidate will be engaged with a monthly salary of Rs.67,700 to Rs.2,08,700.

Age Limit:

Between 21 to 35 years as on the last date for receipt of application.

Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt rules.

For General/OBC/EWS male candidates: Rs.1000/-

Educational Qualification:

Candidates who have completed Ph.D in the relevant subjects can apply.
