Job responsibilities:

Architect, design and develop a Business Intelligence environment using Tableau including aspects of Server Infrastructure/ Upgrades/ Dashboard Development / Connectivity to a variety of big data/relational and streaming sources.

Work with Barclay’s Business Intelligence Technology team to resolve infrastructure and enable new features/enhancements

Build controls/guidelines and help/educate users in self-serve dashboard development.

Build new dashboards/ resolve issues in existing as per business requirements.

Have good understanding of analytical model logic build using Big Data Technologies like Hadoop, Spark/Scala, Hive, etc.

Design robust code from the point of view of performance, reuse and supportability, proper controls, consistent with best practices and with appropriate documentation & others.

Key Skills:

Hands-on experience as a User Interface developer with a proven record of multiple successful deliveries.

Experience with Tableau business intelligence tool Big Data technologies like Hadoop, hive, Spark/Scala.

Hands-on experience in UNIX.

Experience in a variety of database technologies mainly Hive, Impala, Oracle or SQL server

Good understanding of analytics and machine learning algorithms.
