Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), a Scientific Society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, invites applications for the Consultant (Full-time) position at its Thiruvananthapuram Centre (C-DAC T). The position is contractual and will be part of the MedSIM 2.0 - Online Skill Lab and Virtual Patient Cases project.

As per the CDAC Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with an MBBS degree and valid medical council registration are eligible to apply.

The selection will be based on shortlisting followed by an interview.

The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging between Rs.60,000 and Rs.80,000, based on evaluation and interview performance.

Eligibility Criteria for C-DAC Consultant Post

Name of the Post

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with valid medical council registration.

Experience Requirement

• Experience is not mandatory; however, candidates with relevant experience will be given preference.

Required Skill Sets

• Profound knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, diseases, and treatments.
• Ability to create simulation models that mimic real-life medical situations.
• Experience in developing assessment questionnaires to evaluate learners' performance.
• Ability to collaborate with non-medical professionals for simulation software development.

Age Limit

• Maximum 35 years as of 01-01-2025.

Contract Duration

• 12 months from the date of appointment or completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
• Further extension will be at the discretion of C-DAC (T).

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute training programs across India in offline and online modes.
• Train MedSIM modules to 5000 medical college students and 1000 faculty members.
• Assist in the development of assessment and analytics tools for medical students.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting based on qualifications and eligibility criteria.
• Evaluation by the Consultancy Evaluation Committee.
• Interview (offline/online) for shortlisted candidates.
• Final selection based on highest evaluation score.

Remuneration and Benefits

• Monthly remuneration between ₹60,000 and ₹80,000, decided by the Consultancy Evaluation Committee.
• Attendance-based salary deduction policy.
• Eligible for official travel reimbursement as per C-DAC rules.
• Entitled to 8 days of leave during the contract period.
• Tax deductions as applicable.
