Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop/Service, report optimization, and Power BI Data Flows.
• Strong skills in data modeling, integrating data from SQL Server, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, SharePoint, and SSAS.
• In-depth understanding of dimensional modeling, including star schema and snowflake schema.
• Proficiency in creating complex relationships and working with large datasets. Ability to ensure efficient integration of data from multiple sources.
• Advanced skills in DAX for calculations and SQL for complex queries, views, and aggregations.
• Experience In optimizing report and dashboard performance. Identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot data connection issues, and optimize slow-loading reports.
• Ability to provide actionable strategic recommendations based on data analysis and identify the root causes of issues (whether related to data extraction, transformation, model design, or visualization).

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Good knowledge in ETL processes, data cleansing, and optimizing large datasets to improve performance and data quality.
• Experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Blob Storage for seamless data integration and management.
• Familiarity with integrating advanced analytics or predictive models into Power BI reports using external tools or services.
• Good knowledge in Python and Pyspark for backend ETL processes and data manipulation, which will enable effective collaboration with the ETL teams.
