Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions using Microsoft Fabric components (Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Power BI).
• Develop and maintain data models for analytics and reporting.
• Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.
• Automate data processes and implement CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
• Integrate data from multiple sources into a unified Fabric environment.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement).
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines for reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Maintain technical documentation for data pipelines, architecture, and processes.

Required Qualification:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering roles, preferably in cloud-based data platforms.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, including programming knowledge (i.e., SQL, Python, C#, etc)
• Experience architecting, design, developing, and maintaining data warehouses/data lakes for complex data ecosystems.
• Expert in data and database management, including data pipeline responsibilities in replication and mass ingestion, streaming, API, and application and data integration.
• Design and optimize complex data transformation and integration from various data sources.
• Proficiency in cloud data warehousing and experience with the concept of medallion architecture.
• Experience in developing required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources using ADF, Notebooks or other technologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and disseminate significant amount of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Fabric components (Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Power BI).
• Expertise in SQL and ETL/ELT processes.
• Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for automation.
• Experience with Azure services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
