Essential Skills:

• Bachelor's degree (BE or BS) in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in analyzing, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco XR Products.
• Knowledge of routing protocols – OSPF, EIGRP, BGP
• Exposure to WAN technologies - MPLS, MPLS VPN.
• Demonstrated significant analytical and troubleshooting skills, including crisis management abilities, and proficiency in handling critical customer issues/problems.
• Exceptional software debugging skills, with a strong aptitude for troubleshooting.
• Experience in a Network Operations Centre (NOC) or Technical Assistance Centre (TAC) environment is a valuable addition.
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Deliver technology/product training and intellectual property material as necessary, including mentoring other engineers.
• Basic understanding of Software defined networking.
• Knowledge of Emerging technologies like micro services, Cloud etc.
• Good understanding of IOS/IOS-XR/IOS-XE DNS and DHCP

Extended Skills:

• Automation Skills – Python Scripting, AI/ML, YAML, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of some DBMS (MongoDB, Oracle, SQL, Redis)

Emerging Skills:

• CCIE RS/EI, certification is a plus
• Public / Private Cloud experience and knowledge. [ AWS, Azure]
